Custom Epiphone, also modifiziert. Die Basis ist so'ne Korea-Epi oder wo die herkommen (Wilshire in worn-cherry). Verändert ist also: Die Mechaniken sind Klusons die in die Sixties-Ära passen. Das Tremolo ist aus den Sixties (Original).
Die Schlagplatte wurde den Originalen der ersten Wilshires nachempfunden (Eigenbau). Die einstige Ausfräsung für die Potis wurde mit einem Mahagoni-Holzteil verschlossen (formgefräst), der neue Zugang ist jetzt auf der Rückseite. Die Schaltung ist zweimal Volume und einmal Tone (beide TA). So das war's glaube ich. So gefällt mir die Gitarre. Ach, und der Lack ist natürlich auch nicht Original (Petrolblau metallic auf den Fotos immer schwer zu erkennen).
Die Mängel: Die einstige Ausfräsung für die Potis ist an den Rändern noch zu erkennen ( muss man nacharbeiten wenn man's ganz schön haben will). Farbcode wird mitgeliefert.
Mehr Mängel ausser Gebrauchsspuren hab' ich nicht.
Noch mehr gutes: Tolle Qualität von Epi, Super Tonabnehmer, gerader Hals, flache Saitenlage.
So reicht, denke ich.

the stop plate was the original of the first Wilshire modeled (eigenbau).the former recess for the potentiometers was a mahogany-wood partially closed (form milled), the new access is now on the back. the circuit is even tone and volume twice (both ta). so that's it I think. so I like the guitar. Oh, and the paint is of course not original (petrol blue metallic always hard to see on the photos)
the defects.:the former recess for the potentiometers can be seen on the edges yet (you have to rework if you want to have it quite nice). color code is included

the shortcomings: The former cutout for the pots is to detect the edges (must you work to if you really want's). Color code is supplied.
